Application available in December

I had thought that the application to study abroad was available in August, so about August 15, I went to the site to start the application process and was greeted by a message saying "We're sorry. There are currently no terms available at this time. Please select another study abroad thing." (Not an exact quote). Then, below that it said "Applications will be available Dec. 1." I panicked, assuming I missed my chance to study abroad. After emailing the advisor, however, I learned that the August 1 date referred to the Spring 09 Sevilla program and the application for the summer doesn't become available until Dec. 1. A little annoyed at UNC study abroad for creating the confusion in the first place, but at least it will work out. *Phew*
